This Medical Centre is seeking dedicated family physicians to join its dynamic team in downtown Nanaimo. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible hours. As part of a supportive team with access to allied health professionals, you will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population. The role also includes the opportunity to participate in evening and weekend Urgent and Primary Care shifts. The clinic offers an ideal environment for physicians seeking professional growth, all while enjoying the vibrant community and natural beauty of Vancouver Island. Start Date As soon as possible Overhead 13%-20% per month Hours of Work Weekdays 8am-9pm, weekends 9am-6pm Community Information Nanaimo, an exciting urban community with a breathtaking waterfront, provides an opportunity to enjoy an active exciting lifestyle with a multitude of year-round recreational opportunities including golf, mountain biking and walking trails, kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing, or dive to explore three artificial reefs created by wrecks sunk in the harbour. In winter, both downhill and cross-country skiing can be enjoyed at Mount Washington, just 1.5 hours north. This vibrant, growing city of 104,000 boasts its own symphony and theater, offers post-secondary education at the Vancouver Island University, is just 15 minutes by seaplane to downtown Vancouver and a short drive to Victoria.
