WELL Health – Oval A Medical Clinic puts patients and their family’s health first. We are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes. Located inside the gorgeous Olympic Oval; 10 minutes drive from Richmond Central and the airport, it sits next to the Fraser River, bike trails, endless selection of food and shopping nearby. In the summer, you’ll be surrounded by locally grown produce within a 5-minute drive. Here, we eat berries by the pound! You simply have to experience it for yourself.

Fun Fact: Did you know Richmond is home of Canada’s largest commercial fishing harbour and one of the largest producers of cranberries in Canada? On your way to the fisherman’s wharf in Steveston Village, you’ll surely pass by many local farms.

Our Richmond Oval A location is a multi-disciplinary and multi-physician clinic with a very collegiate atmosphere and a physician focused MOA support team. The clinic also provides virtual and telehealth options which can be accessed at home.

The ideal nurse pracittioner would be in a position to provide full-scope family practice either full-time or part-time, as per requrement of the PCN contract. This position may have the option for a small walk-in component. The WELL Health team will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of the practice. You can expect flexible hours and would be masters of your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to work the way you want!

Expectations include:
Patient Volume: You control your practice and can manage your panel to suit your preferred workload, in order to meet the PCN attachment requirement
Patient Demographics: You’ll serve a diverse patient base, ranging from newborns to seniors.
Types of Cases: Standard family medicine cases, with opportunities to tailor the focus based on your interests.

Financials:
Overhead Agreement: will be 75/25 outside the PCN arrangmenet
Salary wil be determined by the PCN ministry contract, with the allocated FTE
Overhead will be determined by the agreement between the Nurse Practitioner and the clinic, which is supported by the PCN contract.

Practice Details:
- Access to 1 exam rooms during shifts, clinic has 8 exam rooms
- Shared office space
- Oscar EMR

Hours:
The clinic is currently open from Mon to Fri, from 9 am to 5 pm. The new practitioner
will work out a schedule with the clinic. *No strict policy around time off

Staff:
The clinic currently has 7 GPs, a Gastroenterologist and 1 NPs, RN as well as office manager and MOA’s who can all help with the transition process
