Role and Facility Information

We are seeking a locum family physician to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The position involves providing longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient panel, supported by experienced MOAs and EMR integration. Westwood offers occasional staff lunches, air conditioning and heat, on-site bathroom for staff only, sample cupboard, multilingual staff, physician cross-coverage, flexible scheduling, collegial collaboration, and a well-established patient base ensure a smooth transition into practice.
Minimum Licensure: Full

Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 - 16:00 - Closed for lunch from 12:30-13:30. Willing to be flexible - i.e., open to considering partial/ part-time coverage

Payment Model Options: Positions are available under New to Practice (NTP) PCN (salary) Contracts and Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Contracts.

Billing: Assignment of Payment Model

Billing Split: 80/20

• 3 Medical Directors/Physician Leads
• 1 Clinic Manager
• 7 Full-time Family Physicians
• 6 Part-time Family Physicians
• 15 Family Physicians handling walk-in patients
• 2 Full-time MOAs
• 3 Part-time MOA
• PCN Allied Care Professionals (3 Chronic Disease Management Registered Nurses; 1 Social Worker; 3 Clinical Counsellors; 1 Registered Dietitian; 2 Physiotherapists; 1 Occupational Therapist; 1 Clinical Pharmacist; 1 Frail Seniors Team Registered Nurse; 1 Frail Seniors Team Occupational Therapist; 1 Frail Seniors Team Social Worker; 1 Community Link Worker; 1 Administrative Coordinator; & Chronic Disease Group
