Role and Facility Information

Doc-Side Medical, a clinic in the Downtown Eastside, is looking to grow their team. They are looking for permanent family doctors to join their interdisciplinary team of health care professionals in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. Any interested family physician can establish their own panel of patients focused on family medicine or addiction medicine and service the walk-in portion of the clinic as well. They are a hybrid walk-in/family practice and their 3,000 square foot clinic has 9 exam rooms and 3 physicians working in the clinic, along with a psychiatrist, and a drug and alcohol counsellor. There are ample staff available to support the daily flow of patients. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. The patient population serviced by this clinic is largely composed of mental illness and addiction cases, with many of the DTES patients being unhoused and/or on social assistance.

Open to provisional and fully-licensed candidates.
