Role and Facility Information

Mid-Main Community Health Centre is seeking a locum family physician. Flexible scheduling is possible, with full-time shifts and part-time shifts available in the day, afternoon, or evening. About 28 patients seen per day.

As a key member of the team, you can:
- Provide full-spectrum family medicine, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Engage in shared decision-making with patients, fostering a holistic approach to health.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in community outreach and health promotion initiatives.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to continue to improve patient outcomes and patient/ provider experience. Have an innovative idea to help improve the lives of the community we serve? We will help you make it happen.

Qualifications & Experience
- Physician registered in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C., certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
- A background in working with youth, mental health, addictions, refugees and frail elderly desired.
- Experience or training in quality improvement is an asset

On-site dental services

Our primary care team includes 7 Family Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Registered Nurses, 4 Medical Office Assistants, and 2 on-site clinical pharmacists, all working together to provide comprehensive patient-centered care. The clinic has 8 exam rooms.
