Role and Facility Information

A clinic in Fairview are seeking Nurse Practitioners to join them in delivering primary health care services to the residents of Central Vancouver, including BIPOC and minority communities, and influencing the future of primary care delivery in BC.

As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, an interested NP would work collaboratively in the team environment and start their own patient panel as per Ministry requirements.
This will be a full-time or part-time salaried position. This clinic is excited to add to their team a Nurse Practitioner interested in working together to provide primary care for the surrounding community of patients. This initiative is part of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) evolving in Vancouver. NPs interested in this opportunity should be willing to work collaboratively and participate in PCN development in the community.

They are a full-service family practice that has 4 fully equipped primary care exam rooms, physiotherapy and registered massage therapy spaces, as well as 2 offices. The clinic will staff Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners who will be supported by MOAs, and work alongside physiotherapy and registered massage therapy. Family Physicians & Nurse Practitioners will have the autonomy to work independently while also collaborating within the team-based approach.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with health professionals in various areas including primary care, chronic disease prevention and management, lifestyle counseling, basic mental health and addictions, geriatrics, women’s health, as well as child and adolescent health.
