Role and Facility Information
An efficient and collaborative clinic committed to providing high quality primary care to patients in the community are looking to grow their team and are offering to provide trial shifts as an opportunity to assess if this clinic aligns well with your skills and interests. The renovated office in Vancouver near Kingsway and Commercial Drive offers a passionate team of primary care providers and experienced support staff.
The clinic has 11 fully equipped exam rooms and a central provider charting room. In addition to this, they currently have 6 full-time family physicians, 1 full-time nurse practitioner, 2 regular locum physicians and a registered nurse who is heavily involved in optimizing our primary care practice. The clinic conducts appointments both virtually and in person. Providers manage their own customizable schedules for both virtual and in-office care. The team-centered approach allows for flexible and reliable vacation coverage. Billing is done directly through the EMR.
The clinic’s experienced support team of MOA’s are trained to take patient vitals, ensure room preparation and procedure set-up, assist with referral tracking and billing support.
With the support of their EMR and built-in virtual technology, daily processes are streamlined. This includes online appointment booking, encounter templates for faster charting, pre-visit questionnaires, and automatic patient notifications to reduce no-shows. The secure patient portal makes sending lab requisitions, prescriptions, and patient communication much easier.
