Role and Facility Information

The successful candidate will have an independent practice providing all the services normally provided by nurse practitioners in an semi-urban environment within a family medical practice. The Medical Clinic has traditionally served the community of Deep Cove in particular and North Vancouver in general for 40 years and was formerly staffed with 3 medical practitioners. There is a considerable demand in this area for family health services and the existing doctors are turning away patients because of full lists.

There will be supported by the current family doctors and the practice support and administration will be provided by the existing 2 medical doctors and their support staff. 

We will encourage the NP to develop their own patient list and will provide support to this end. We are a cooperative practice who are keen to explore the dynamics of a new evolving style of integrated family practice.
