can practice family medicine in a bright, airy practice, supported by a friendly

For newly graduated nurse practitioners (NP), or those just beginning to feel
the call to rural practice, Whistler offers the best of everything.
As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, an
interested NP would work collaboratively in the team environment and start
their own patient panel as per Ministry requirements.

The Nurse Practitioners will be joining a dynamic team that includes 6 family
physicians, specialists, physiotherapists, clinical counsellors, register dietician
and more providing care for patients and families who require high priority
care within 24 hours. The primary function of the centre is to assess,
diagnose, and treat non-life-threatening illnesses. The NP will working with
patients across the lifespan within the optimized NP scope of practices to
evaluate, manage, and treat patients presenting to the centre with high
priority care needs.
