Bring your clinical expertise and passion for providing quality, compassionate care to a challenging and rewarding role as a Nurse Practitioner for the Primary Care Network (PCN) in the South Okanagan where a cohesive network of full-service providers deliver all aspects of primary care in our community. This 0.5 FTE NP position is in a team-based clinic in Penticton. The practice is currently home to seven GPs, two NPs, and a non-dispensing Pharmacist. Naturally, they are supported by a wonderful team of MOAs. As an NP in the South Okanagan Similkameen, you will be in good company: since the launch of our Pin in 2019, 10 NPs have launched careers in our primary care clinics. Each of them has been supported by our Division of Family Practice clinic support team in getting their practice established - and they are keen to do the same for you. Furthermore, you will be welcomed to join the Division as a full voting member. Applications are invited from candidates with: • Current provisional/practising registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) • Relevant, clinical nursing experience In the South Okanagan, you can enjoy pristine lakes and mountains with endless opportunity for water sports, road cycling, mountain biking, a top-rated climbing destination, three world class ski hills and two world class cross-country ski areas. There again, you can enjoy the sun and scenery at a restaurant or winery, and sip on local wine while enjoying a delicious meal. Culture and opportunities for creativity abound – music, markets, painting, pottery, theatre, dancing –we’ve got it all. And when you need an urban fix, Kelowna is just a 45 minute drive away and Vancouver is less than an hour by air. Enjoy a well-compensated, satisfying career and unlimited recreational opportunities.
