Role and Facility Information
Interior Health is seeking a dedicated Community Clinical Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Team at facility located in the Kelowna Community Health Services Centre. This position is Permanent Part Time (0.50 FTE) working rotating days 07:30 to 15:30.
Applicable positions may qualify for up to $15,000 as a recruitment incentive.
What Will You Work On?
The Community Clinical Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services to clients in a community care setting. As a member of an inter-professional team this position will assess and recommend individualized treatments. Acts as the primary resource for drug information, education and providing expert advice to health care professionals. Monitors drug prescribing, drug distribution and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal and economic use of drugs and will maintain workload records and statistics.
