Family Medicine Physicians

The Medical Clinic in Tsawwassen is a community-based family practice and walk-in clinic offering comprehensive care and telehealth, focusing on longitudinal care for families and individuals in Tsawwassen, South Delta with specializations in allergies and immunology.

The Medical Clinic provides general checkups, chronic disease management, preventative care, and mental health support, operating out of their clinic located at the Walmart at the Tsawwassen Springs Mall.

Practice Environment & Culture:
• Team Based: Provide Team-Based Care including Family Physicians and a Nurse Practitioner
• Supportive: We are cultivating a team characterized by collegiality, shared values, and a positive culture that embraces the exchange of ideas.
• Mission and Values: We provide compassionate care to all of our patients through our family practice
• Patient Focus: Providing comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centred care across all ages and stages of life.

Logistics & Compensation:
• Patient Load: Average for our physicians is 18-26 patients per day with 15-20 minute slots. You set the pace.
• Work Schedule: Flexible schedule including in-person and virtual care; Monday to Friday and weekends if you choose.
• Compensation: Split is negotiable. Choose from contracts available (LFP, NTP, FFS). Full benefits available through Doctors of BC (earning $350-500K)
• EMR System: Med Access

Role & Responsibilities:
• Scope of Practice: Cradle to grave family medicine including acute, chronic, preventive care, pediatrics, geriatrics.
• Clinical Focus: We foster and encourage your interests in specialty areas whether that be OB, Mental Health, Dermatology, Geriatrics…
• Professional Growth: Opportunities for CME, research, and continuing education.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
• CPSBC: Eligible for full or provisional registration with the CPSBC
• Essentials: Compassion, strong listening skills, empathy, problem-solving.
• Technical Skills: EMR proficiency (training available) , familiarity with current tech.
