Role and Facility Information
Fraser Health Authority is seeking Family Physicians (FPs) to join the Orthopedic service at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) with an inpatient component to their practice. As a Clinical Associate (CA), you will collaborate with Orthopaedic Surgeons and the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for trauma and elective orthopedic patients, managing their medical issues from admission to discharge. Responsibilities include diagnostics, treatment, medication management, and patient education, as well as participation in multi-disciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination with other medical specialties. This is a full-time or part-time position with an hourly rate of $190.50, with no on-call or after-hours responsibilities.
The CA will play a key role in managing both chronic and acute medical conditions for orthopedic patients, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. The role is compensated under an Alternative Payment Program (APP), and both full and part-time opportunities are available.
