Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License (Provisional), Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible (Mandatory), Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)
Role and Facility Information
The clinic is located in New Westminster, BC. This clinic is surrounded by retail stores and restaurants and is within close walking distance to popular transit routes and Royal Columbian Hospital. In the same facility, there is a pharmacy and specialist offices. This is a family practice by appointment with same-day access for both urgent and non-urgent appointments.
Its operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Currently, the staffing model consists of three MOAs, 1 clinic manager, four physicians, and one nurse practitioner. They utilize Oscar as their EMR. The physicians rotate each week (1:5) for after-hours call services for patients.
The team is very collaborative and friendly; they share patients, experience, knowledge, and enjoy spending time with each other. There is always the opportunity to learn something new in this supportive and energetic environment, especially since there are a variety of different skill sets and strengths that complement each other. The physicians here have high involvement in the community. They have efficient and experienced MOAs, great overhead, and is very flexible and accommodating with schedules. This practice is willing to supervise any new graduates.
