Role and Facility Information

Imperial Medical Clinic is a Family Physician owned and operated clinic in the Metrotown area dedicated to providing full service Family Practice and continuity of care in the
community.

We opened our doors in 2018 and our collegial team consists of 7 FPs and 1 Internal
Medicine Specialist. The clinic is bright and spacious with high end finishing and renovations done throughout. We have 12 examination rooms that are shared. There is a designated charting room
where the practitioners can bounce ideas off one another. There is a lunch room and a staff only washroom. The clinic is accessible to all and has a hospital grade elevator for ease of access to the
second floor for those who may require it. There is a private car park behind the building
and ample side street parking too. We are located close to Metrotown Skytrain station; it’s approximately 8 minutes away on foot.

We use OSCAR EMR that has been optimized to insure smooth and efficient clinic
operation.
We have a call-centre standard VOIP phone system that can be used when working from
home as well via your mobile device.

Drs Pav and Jag Kaliray have mentored and acted as supervisors for 7 new to practice FPs
and helped them to build their panels and settle into working life in Burnaby. We are committed to the tenets of the Primary Care Network. Dr. Pav Kaliray is a member of the Burnaby Division of Family Practice PMH Committee. Dr. Jag Kaliray sits on the Metrotown Local Leadership Table.
Both Doctors Kaliray have done further training in Opioid Agonist Therapy and can help to mentor an incoming practitioner in this field if required. Dr. Pav Kaliray has participated in many of the PSP offerings and in recent times has been particularly focused on QI Initiatives. He has been the peer mentor facilitating the PSP QI Small Group Learning Sessions since 2021.

We believe an NP will be an excellent addition to our team at IMC and that we can provide the support they need to start and maintain their practice in Burnaby long term. Overhead split = 70/30 for the first 6 months and 75/25 thereafter. Shared rota for on call between practitioners.
