Oceanside Primary Care Network (PCN) is opening a clinic in Parksville, BC. The PCN is seeking 3 full time family physicians to join this new practice. This clinic will enjoy all the benefits of a PCN including a team-based care model with an in-practice RN. This clinic will be in the Oceanside Health Centre, in beautiful Parksville, BC. The clinic space is large and bright, with spacious examination rooms and ample office space. Easy access to in-building services such as medical imaging and Lifelabs. After hours and on-call expectations: Member of the community on-call group, expected call rotation. Patient population: General patient population, consisting of all ages and complexities. Oceanside and area utilize the Healthlink Health Connect Registry to quickly and equitably manage the patient waitlist and as a tool to build your practice. Attachment: The practitioner will be the most responsible primary care provider for a minimum patient panel as described in the New To Practice. Start Date Fall 2024 Hours of Work Monday to Friday 0900-1700 (Full Time or Part Time) Community Information Oceanside (Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Errington, Coombs) has one of the most temperate climates in all of Canada, with sandy beaches and activities for everyone from young families to retirement. Oceanside offers a slower pace of life, where people take time to enjoy the beauty of the area and the endless outdoor activities.
