Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive consultative and longitudinal care for adult patients with complex medical conditions, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic diseases across multiple organ systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient and/or inpatient consultations in General Internal Medicine
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Coordinate care with family physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals
• Interpret and oversee relevant diagnostic investigations (e.g., labs, imaging, ECGs)
• Participate in preventive care initiatives, chronic disease management, and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and, if desired, teaching or mentoring activities

Qualifications:
• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Certification in Internal Medicine (FRCPC or equivalent)
• Eligible for independent medical licensure in British Columbia
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing complex medical cases
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills

• Experience in multidisciplinary and community-based care models
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
