Role and Facility Information

We welcome nurse practitioners from overseas who are looking to join a newly built, modern, friendly and very well run practice with excellent secretarial support, either full-time or part-time. We have an experienced family physician from the UK who would be pleased to mentor and supervise new comers who would initially need support to help them acclimatize to local practice.

We have free unlimited parking for nurse practitioners.

We provide access to both virtual and in-person appointments and are flexible with the schedules with nurse practitioners who want to work from home and can start anytime between 9-5 pm daily. We are happy to speak with and support overseas nurse practitioners contemplating moving to Canada.

Ironwood has a very diverse population, and a high demand for both episodic and chronic care. We have optional weekend shifts. Our plaza has many restaurants, cafes, a Starbucks, and a Lifelabs within walking distance for patients to do their blood tests.

If interested, we can provide a real-time video tour of our clinic and in person visits.

Our practice currently has 4 full-time family physicians and we would welcome nurse practitioners to join our practice especially as the patient demand for doctors and nurse practitioners is high in our neighborhood .

We are looking for :

A nurse practitioner to work under the Primary Care Network (PCN) contract for which we are approved for 2 contracts currently with the Richmond Division of Family Practice.
