Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License (Full), Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) (Mandatory), Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)

Role and Facility Information

The Clinic is a great clinic home to 6 GPs, two social workers, a physiotherapist, a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, an occupational therapist, and an onsite lab and pharmacy. We are supported by an experienced group of qualified MOAs, front desk staff, a Billings Manager and Clinic Manager. Our fantastic team is committed to making your stay in Nelson as enjoyable as possible! Our superb downtown location, flexible arrangements, and collaborative work environment make NMAC an excellent choice for your next trip to Nelson. Our clinic is also part of the PCN (Primary Care Network) program through the Ministry of Health. We are committed to supporting quality, patient-focused care to the community in the West Kootenays. The overhead contribution is 70/30 for all in clinic billings. Out of Clinic billings (such as inpatient care) are billed at 97/3. Locum doctors get 100% of all rural retention payments. This clinic has been granted a fully accredited teaching facility for medical students and medical residents appointed by the UBC Faculty of Medicine. Need support finding accommodation?
