Role and Facility Information
Fraser Health (FH) is responsible for the delivery of hospital and community-based health services to over 1.9 million people in 20 diverse communities from Burnaby to Fraser Canyon within the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish and Nlaka’pamux Nations, which is home to six Métis Chartered Communities.
Our team of nearly 45,000 staff, medical staff and volunteers is dedicated to serving our patients, families and communities to deliver on our vision: Better health, best in health care.
FH invites you to join an innovative and unique primary health care team located in Langley – a fast-growing urban centre surrounded by parkland, in the heart of the lower mainland. In early 2024, our team will start providing urgent care after hours and on weekends, with a complement of 2.6 FTEs primary care providers (family physicians and/or nurse practitioners).
We operate in a team-based care model that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, clinical counsellors, allied health professionals and administrative support. You will participate as a full and active member in the delivery of team based primary care services. Together, we are dedicated to extending intentional and coordinated care to all members of the community, including the vulnerable and medically complex. Join us to provide timely access to patients, families and caregivers to comprehensive, person-centred, culturally safe and quality care.

• CPSBC Eligible for Full License
Remuneration:
Contracted in accordance with the provincial physician master agreement.
Full Time/Part Time/Locum/Temporary: Full Time, Part Time and Locum. Duties will initially focus on urgent care, with longitudinal care added in the future.
