This practice opportunity is we believe quite unique. There is a large multi-disciplinary, inter-professional health care team that works well together around the care needs of the patient and their family. Our practice make up affords the physician to focus on maternity, infant and child development, care of the well to that of the most complex patients, focusing in particular on the needs of the frail and elderly, both in the community and in care. We have a strong presence in Residential Care. We have a robust Chronic Disease Program, supported by both a Diabetes and a Respiratory Nurse educator. We are looking to expand our group practice in the year ahead to strengthen our ties with the Fraser Health Authority and with the University of British Columbia. We currently participate in the training of medical and nurse practitioner students and Family Practice Residents. Compensation for this position will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience and qualifications. It will range between $300K and $400K.
