Practice available for a family physician (part-time) before June 2024. This practice is a physician-owned clinic located in beautiful Port Coquitlam. It operates Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some physicians provide care on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well. The physician team of thirteen takes turns being accountable for after hours calls. The clinic is run by appointment and patients are able to e-book if they choose; availability for appointments can vary but often patients are able to come in on the same day. The facility itself has 18 exam rooms, a recently upgraded surgery room, and a designated area for vaccinations and allergy shots. To assist in daily operations at this busy clinic there are two RNs, a strong MOA staff, and access to Profile EMR. This is a well organized clinic with a team that is supportive and helpful which fosters a positive working environment. Based on the support provided, there is a 70/30 split to aid in covering costs associated with operating the clinic. This practice offers a mix of in-office and virtual. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience here for additional physicians to be exposed to including members of the physician team that are involved with the College of Physicians and Surgeons, as well as members practicing in long-term care. These physicians work very well together which fosters a supportive, pleasant, and cohesive environment. They also work together following like principles of patient management and medical therapies. Long term, stable and well cared for patients, computerized medical records since 2008, well balanced patient demographics and practice incentives and new renovation to the office in Jan 2022. They are flexible for a locum trial at anytime and would like to fill the position prior to June 2024. Learn more about the FNW at fnw-recruitment.com
